February 2018 retrospective

Imbolc 2018 brought some of the most beautiful bright frosty days I’ve ever seen in a February.

It seems like a strange month for Valentines day to be placed in because February is such a complicated mix of dark, full of potential, cosy, cold, opening up and lonely.

Perhaps that’s what makes it perfect? But I also suspect that’s why it can be hard for a lot of people.

I definitely pick up on the mixed emotions that tend to float around this month, but mostly I just think it’s beautiful.
